Since joining the company in 1999, Raphaelle has been selling Sekisui products and supporting clients from their initial evaluations through to the establishment of their supply.  While retaining the management of some key accounts, she now also has overall responsibility for the business in the EMEA region ensuring our sales team understands our customers’ needs and maintains focus on providing excellent service and satisfaction for all customers.

Richard spent the first twenty-plus years of his diagnostics career working directly with all types of end-user laboratories across North America. This experience allows him to acutely understand the needs of the laboratory and the laboratory supplier. Richard is always looking for innovative ways to provide value to diagnostics providers by focusing on quality, service, and economic impact to deliver successful partnerships.

Nick gained his PhD in Microbiology from the University of Kent and went on to conduct post-doctoral research in microbial genetic stability before joining the company as a Research Scientist in 1988. Now the Head of Sekisui Enzymes R&D group based in Kent, UK, he leads efforts to discover new enzymes and to use advanced microbial product expression and assay methodologies to serve the increasingly wide need for enzymes in applications related to healthcare. Nick takes a very collaborative approach via many connections with academics and industrial experts in the field.

Mary joined the company in 2008 as Customer Service Supervisor. A translation graduate (German, French, Greek), Mary had always worked in the translation/editorial fields until she moved to Kent in 2002 and took on her first role in customer support.  Since 2013, Mary heads up the EMEA Commercial Operations group, which encompasses customer service and order processing, sales operations and analytics, metrics and commercial systems’ support. The group has close links to all departments in Kent and to the Sekisui Diagnostics’ Commercial Operations team in the Americas. She leads a team of customer-focused individuals whose aim is to offer the best possible service to Sekisui Diagnostics’ external and internal customers and support the business by adding value to our service offering. Mary also holds the role of Kent Commercial Communications Officer and represents the Kent commercial department at site level meetings.
